前一陣子新聞常提到的辭彙 : debt ceiling 舉債上限
聯想到NBA/MLB ... 的薪資上限 : salary cap
salary cap 有針對單一球員 也有限制整個球隊的
主要是避免某些球隊用銀彈策略 高薪挖角 例如Y隊 ...

說到ceiling , 原意指天花板
相反詞就是地板 : floor
數學裏有兩個取整數值的函數 就叫ceiling 與 floor

職場裏看不見的天花板 : glass ceiling
The glass ceiling is invisible but will hurt those people
