stairwell : 頗符合從樓梯間往下望的感覺
staircase : 想想 briefcase, treasure case

stair 是台階,
台階連成的路就是'樓梯' stairway / staircase

go downstairs 下樓

那樓梯扶手 英文怎麼說?
